Pagham Pram Race 2016
Pagham Pram Race has a 60 year history. In 1946 a group demobbed servicemen decided they would race. One pushing the pram and another as a baby in it, making sure to drink a pint each, at all the village pubs. The prize, a christmas fruit cake.
Since then the Pagham Pram Race has been run every year on Boxing Day, whatever the weather, starting at the mill on Pagham Road and passing The Bear, The Lamb The Kings Beach, a course of approximately 3 miles that finishes at The Lamb car park.
Lately there has been as many as 60 Pram Entrants, some of these are fantastic designed floats usually accompanied by topical fancy dress costumes.
We finished P2 in the Novelty Class
MY SISTERS HOUSE CIO
In February 2020 we chose My Sisters House CIO as a local service to support. We updated their one to one rooms providing soundproofing, new carpets and ceilings and intend to go back at a later date to continue the improvements they require. My Sisters House is a terrific service and we were more than happy to assist them in their journey supporting women in the local community. Below is their Facebook post.
My Sisters’ House CIO is feeling blessed.
These incredible chaps did the most amazing job of replacing ceilings, soundproofing and carpet laying free of charge which have turned our 121 rooms into beautiful cosy quiet spaces. The lads wanted women to feel really valued and special when they call in to tell us their problems.
Truly lovely men.
From the left Stuart (Director) Ryan, Paul, Steve (Director) and Dan worked tirelessly over 3 days ❤️ thank you.
